SOLUBEMA – Sociedade Luso-Belga de Mármores is one of the largest marble extraction companies in Portugal and one of the ten largest in Europe.
It has been dedicated to the extraction of marble blocks since 1928, at its one-square-kilometre quarry located at Herdade da Vigária, in the heart of the Alentejo, where some of the most precious marbles in Portugal — and perhaps in the world — are extracted.
